I have a favor to ask...

I feel so accomplished that I finished all fifty states.
I really learned a lot while doing it, too.  Bonus!
So now what?
Where do I go from here?
I still have 295 cookies to go.
TWO HUNDRED NINETY FIVE
It's a little daunting when I see it written out like that.  Then I look at the pages of my planning notebook and I see about 250 spots empty.  Then I have to remind myself, "Hey, you've already made SEVENTY.  Two hundred and ninety five should be a piece of cake (or cookie)!"
I do have some exciting things planned for the upcoming weeks.  I have some original recipes I can't wait to share with you all, as well as some more traditional recipes from friends and family.
Then there's Halloween.
And Christmas.
Oh, just wait until Christmas

Now, about this favor I ask.  I would love, love, LOVE if you all could share with me some cookies that you have a fondness for.
Maybe it's a cookie you're great-aunt Flo made and eating it reminds you of sunny days sitting on a porch drinking lemonade.
Maybe it's a cookie that you had once at a party or a bakery and you'd love to be able to recreate it.  Maybe it's a recipe that's been handed down, generation after generation in your family (I love those!).  Either way, I want your cookie ideas!
It doesn't have to be a recipe.  It can be a cookie idea.  All I need is a basic descriptive of the cookie and I'll do my best to deliver and I'll be sure to give credit where credit is due.

How about some cookies from Ireland?

see if that has any ideas for you. Me, personally, I'm a snickerdoodle junkie. But I like lemony cookies too.

I've always wanted someone to make a bunch of different chocolate chip cookie recipes and figure out which one is the best. I swear you could spend probably a month JUST on chocolate chip cookie recipes (May 15th is national chocolate chip cookie day).

Amanda - Irish cookies sound great! Perfect for March!

AmandaRose - I *love* cake mix cookies! I made them for Maryland's Smith Isle Cake Cookies and also for the Gooey Butter Cake Cookies. Delish!

Maddy - I LOVE that idea! Thanks for the info on Nat'l CCC day! I may think about doing a countdown to Nat'l CCC day with a CCC a day....hmmmm....
